A fusion of Asian and Western cuisine, Spaghetti Chicken Oriental. This dish is made from a combination of chewy, gluten-free Sago Noodles with Edamame Edashi, complemented by juicy chicken pieces and rich oriental spices.
Ingredients
A. Marinade Sauce
- Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
- Chili sauce 2 tbsp
- Sweet soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil 1 tbsp
- Ginger 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
B. Complements
- Sago noodles 150 grams
- Edamame Edashi 100 grams
- Chicken 1 piece
- Garlic 1 clove
- Red onion 1 clove
- Chili 1 piece
- Salt ½ tsp
- Pepper ½ tsp
- Chicken powder ¼ tsp
- Chinese chives 2 stalks
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edamame Edashi in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin. Set aside.
- Mix tomato sauce, chili sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil together and stir until well combined.
- Grate ginger and garlic finely, then mix with 2 tbsp of the tomato sauce mixture.
- Prepare the chicken thigh and coat it thoroughly with the marinade sauce, then let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Grill the chicken in a pan until cooked, then slice it thinly. Set aside.
- Slice the chili, garlic, red onion, and Chinese chives. Set aside.
- Sauté the red onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add a little chicken stock and the tomato sauce mixture, then add the sautéed Chinese chives and chili.
- Season with salt, pepper, and chicken powder while adjusting the taste.
- Add the sago noodles and stir until well combined. Set aside.
- Place the noodles on a plate and top with the sliced chicken.
- Spaghetti Chicken Oriental is ready to serve.
