A fusion of Asian and Western cuisine, Spaghetti Chicken Oriental. This dish is made from a combination of chewy, gluten-free Sago Noodles with Edamame Edashi, complemented by juicy chicken pieces and rich oriental spices.

Ingredients

A. Marinade Sauce

  1. Tomato sauce 3 tbsp
  2. Chili sauce 2 tbsp
  3. Sweet soy sauce 1 tbsp
  4. Oyster sauce 1 tbsp
  5. Sesame oil 1 tbsp
  6. Ginger 1 piece
  7. Garlic 2 cloves

B. Complements

  1. Sago noodles 150 grams
  2. Edamame Edashi 100 grams
  3. Chicken 1 piece
  4. Garlic 1 clove
  5. Red onion 1 clove
  6. Chili 1 piece
  7. Salt ½ tsp
  8. Pepper ½ tsp
  9. Chicken powder ¼ tsp
  10. Chinese chives 2 stalks

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edamame Edashi in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin. Set aside.
  2. Mix tomato sauce, chili sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil together and stir until well combined.
  3. Grate ginger and garlic finely, then mix with 2 tbsp of the tomato sauce mixture.
  4. Prepare the chicken thigh and coat it thoroughly with the marinade sauce, then let it sit for 10 minutes.
  5. Grill the chicken in a pan until cooked, then slice it thinly. Set aside.
  6. Slice the chili, garlic, red onion, and Chinese chives. Set aside.
  7. Sauté the red onion and garlic until fragrant.
  8. Add a little chicken stock and the tomato sauce mixture, then add the sautéed Chinese chives and chili.
  9. Season with salt, pepper, and chicken powder while adjusting the taste.
  10. Add the sago noodles and stir until well combined. Set aside.
  11. Place the noodles on a plate and top with the sliced chicken.
  12. Spaghetti Chicken Oriental is ready to serve.
