A healthy and practical dish made by combining fresh shrimp with a tapioca flour batter, sweet and sour sauce ingredients, and topped with additions like Edamame Edashi.
Ingredients
- Edamame Edashi 300 grams
- Tapioca flour 50 grams
- Shrimp 350 grams
- Onion 150 grams
- Garlic 1 clove
- Pineapple 150 grams
- Soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Vinegar 1 tbsp
- Sugar 15 grams
- Ketchup 200 grams
- Lemon juice 10 grams
- Salt ½ tsp
- Pepper ¼ tsp
- Water 100 ml
Preparation Steps
- Soak the Edamame Edashi in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel the skins. Set aside.
- Sauté the garlic and onion until softened.
- Add water, pepper, salt, pineapple, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce, then cook until it comes to a boil.
- Add the cleaned shrimp and continue cooking until they turn red and are fully cooked.
- Stir in the tapioca flour dissolved in water while stirring.
- Add the edamame and cook again until the sauce thickens.
- The sweet and sour shrimp is ready to enjoy!
