A healthy and practical homemade Indonesian dish, Stir-Fried Edamame with Soy Sauce Chicken. Made with okra and chicken as the main ingredients, combined with Edashi Edamame for a delightful, crunchy texture that is safe and delicious for everyone, including little ones.
Ingredients
- Edashi edamame 100 grams
- Okra 50 grams
- Chicken 125 grams
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Shallots 5 cloves
- Ginger 1 thumb-sized piece
- Sweet soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil 1 tsp
- Chicken stock 50 ml
- Salt ½ tsp
- Pepper ¼ tsp
- Seasoning powder ½ tsp
Preparation Steps
- Slice the shallots and garlic, then sauté until fragrant.
- Add the chicken pieces and continue sautéing until half-cooked.
- Pour in the chicken stock and continue cooking until fully cooked.
- Add sweet soy sauce and sesame oil to the dish.
- Add crushed ginger, salt, pepper, and seasoning powder, then stir until well combined.
- Soak Edashi edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin.
- Add okra and edamame, then continue cooking until the sauce thickens slightly.
