A healthy and practical dish made by combining fresh shrimp with a tapioca flour batter, sweet and sour sauce ingredients, and topped with additions like Edamame Edashi.

Ingredients

  1. Edamame Edashi 300 grams
  2. Tapioca flour 50 grams
  3. Shrimp 350 grams
  4. Onion 150 grams
  5. Garlic 1 clove
  6. Pineapple 150 grams
  7. Soy sauce 1 tbsp
  8. Vinegar 1 tbsp
  9. Sugar 15 grams
  10. Ketchup 200 grams
  11. Lemon juice 10 grams
  12. Salt ½ tsp
  13. Pepper ¼ tsp
  14. Water 100 ml

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak the Edamame Edashi in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel the skins. Set aside.
  2. Sauté the garlic and onion until softened.
  3. Add water, pepper, salt, pineapple, ketchup, sugar, vinegar, and soy sauce, then cook until it comes to a boil.
  4. Add the cleaned shrimp and continue cooking until they turn red and are fully cooked.
  5. Stir in the tapioca flour dissolved in water while stirring.
  6. Add the edamame and cook again until the sauce thickens.
  7. The sweet and sour shrimp is ready to enjoy!
