A tasty and healthy Edamame snack—introducing Edamame Popcorn. Made from protein-rich Edamame Edashi, mixed with sago flour batter for a satisfying crunch.
Ingredients
- Edashi edamame (peeled): 100 gra
- Water: 70 ml
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Seasoning: 1/2 tsp
- Pepper: 1/4 tsp
Batter Ingredients:
- Sago flour: 500 gr
- Salt: 15 gr
- Pepper: 6 gr
- Chicken broth powder: 18 gr
- Baking powder: 10 gr
- Baking soda: 8 gr
Preparation Steps
- Mix the salt, pepper, and seasoning into the water.
- Soak the peeled and cleaned edamame in the seasoning and water mixture for a while. Set aside.
- Coat the drained edamame in the batter flour (if there is leftover batter flour, store it in a sealed container).
- Fry the edamame over medium heat until golden brown. Stir gently while frying to ensure even cooking.
- Remove and drain. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
