A tasty and healthy Edamame snack—introducing Edamame Popcorn. Made from protein-rich Edamame Edashi, mixed with sago flour batter for a satisfying crunch.

Ingredients

  1. Edashi edamame (peeled): 100 gra
  2. Water: 70 ml
  3. Salt: 1/2 tsp
  4. Seasoning: 1/2 tsp
  5. Pepper: 1/4 tsp

Batter Ingredients:

  1. Sago flour: 500 gr
  2. Salt: 15 gr
  3. Pepper: 6 gr
  4. Chicken broth powder: 18 gr
  5. Baking powder: 10 gr
  6. Baking soda: 8 gr

Preparation Steps

  1. Mix the salt, pepper, and seasoning into the water.
  2. Soak the peeled and cleaned edamame in the seasoning and water mixture for a while. Set aside.
  3. Coat the drained edamame in the batter flour (if there is leftover batter flour, store it in a sealed container).
  4. Fry the edamame over medium heat until golden brown. Stir gently while frying to ensure even cooking.
  5. Remove and drain. Once cooled, store in an airtight container.
