Spring Roll Edamame

One popular dish made from a combination of two main ingredients, Edashi Edamame and Rice Paper as a wrapper, complemented by a dipping sauce.

Ingredients Spring Roll

  1. Edashi Edamame, 200 gr
  2. Rice paper, 4 sheets
  3. Cucumber, 1 piece
  4. Crab sticks, 4 pieces
  5. Carrot, 1 piece
  6. Lettuce leaves, 4 pieces

Sauce

  1. Thai sauce, 70 gr
  2. Chili oil, 10 gr
  3. Soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon
  4. Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
  5. Chili powder, 1 teaspoon

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edashi® edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin. Set aside.
  2. Cut the cucumber and boiled carrot into matchstick-sized pieces. Set aside.
  3. Dip the rice paper briefly in warm water to soften it evenly.
  4. Carefully lift it out and place it on a cutting board. The texture will gradually turn rubbery and translucent.
  5. Arrange the spring roll filling, starting with lettuce leaves to prevent tearing when rolling.
  6. Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients until well combined.
  7. Serve the spring rolls with the dipping sauce on the side.
