One popular dish made from a combination of two main ingredients, Edashi Edamame and Rice Paper as a wrapper, complemented by a dipping sauce.
Ingredients Spring Roll
- Edashi Edamame, 200 gr
- Rice paper, 4 sheets
- Cucumber, 1 piece
- Crab sticks, 4 pieces
- Carrot, 1 piece
- Lettuce leaves, 4 pieces
Sauce
- Thai sauce, 70 gr
- Chili oil, 10 gr
- Soy sauce, 1/2 teaspoon
- Sesame oil, 1 teaspoon
- Chili powder, 1 teaspoon
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edashi® edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin. Set aside.
- Cut the cucumber and boiled carrot into matchstick-sized pieces. Set aside.
- Dip the rice paper briefly in warm water to soften it evenly.
- Carefully lift it out and place it on a cutting board. The texture will gradually turn rubbery and translucent.
- Arrange the spring roll filling, starting with lettuce leaves to prevent tearing when rolling.
- Prepare the sauce by mixing all the ingredients until well combined.
- Serve the spring rolls with the dipping sauce on the side.
