Edamame Bento, one of the international dishes that can be considered healthy and practical for your little one. It’s made with a combination of protein-rich ingredients such as Edashi Edamame, sago flour, chicken, eggs, and various spices, or you can add fresh vegetables based on preference. It’s the perfect choice for a lunchbox.
Ingredients
- Chicken – 300 grams
- Edashi Edamame – 300 grams
- Sago flour – 100 grams
- Rice flour – 50 grams
- Eggs – 2 pieces
- Spring onions – 50 grams
- Salt – 1 tsp
- Powdered broth – ½ tsp
Preparation Steps
- Beat 2 eggs.
- Add sago flour and rice flour to the eggs.
- Pour the mixture into a non-stick Teflon pan and spread it evenly to form a thin layer. Make sure the skin doesn’t tear when lifted. Set aside the cooked skin.
- Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes. Peel the Edamame, then blend it into a smooth puree.
- Finely chop the chicken, then mix it with the edamame puree, spring onions, salt, and powdered broth. Stir until well combined.
- Roll the mixture with the prepared skin into a long cylindrical shape. Freeze for about 1 day.
- Slice the Egg Chicken Edamame Roll into rounds before frying.
