One of the unique and delicious desserts, here is the Edamame Dessert Jar. This dessert is served in a small jar, containing a blend of Edashi Edamame, cheese, topped with strawberries or other fruit of your choice, and finished off with biscuit crumbs.

Ingredients

  1. Edashi Edamame – 60 grams
  2. Mascarpone cheese – 100 grams
  3. Whipping cream – 50 grams
  4. Cold water – 100 ml
  5. Strawberries – 100 grams
  6. Sugar – 50 grams
  7. Water – 50 ml
  8. Biscuits – 6 pieces
  9. Butter – 15 grams
  10. Lemon juice – 1 tsp

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel the skins.
  2. Make the strawberry jam by combining 85 grams of chopped strawberries, 30 grams of sugar, and 50 ml of water. Cook over low heat until the fruit softens and thickens. Set aside.
  3. Whip the mascarpone cheese with a hand mixer until smooth. Set aside.
  4. Combine the whipping cream with cold water and 20 grams of sugar, then whip until stiff.
  5. Mix the mascarpone cheese with the whipped cream and lemon juice, then gently fold together using a spatula.
  6. Once well combined, divide the mixture into two parts.
  7. Mix one part of the mixture with the chopped Edashi Edamame.
  8. Mix the other part with 15 grams of chopped strawberries.
  9. Crush the biscuits into crumbs and mix with the melted butter.
  10. Pour the biscuit crumbs into the bottom of small jars, then layer the Edashi Edamame mixture, strawberry jam, and strawberry cream mixture alternately. Chill in the refrigerator.
  11. The Edamame Dessert Jar is ready to serve.
