Delicious and warming, here’s Edamame Cream Soup—the perfect dish to try. Made with Edashi Edamame, rich in protein, blended with aromatic spices, cooking cream, and a spoonful of sago flour. This dish has a delightful, creamy texture that makes every bite satisfying and enjoyable.

Ingredients

  1. Edashi Edamame, 450 grams
  2. Water, 700 grams
  3. Cooking cream, 350 ml
  4. Chopped onion, 1⁄2 piece
  5. Chopped garlic, 5 cloves
  6. Butter, 2 tbsp
  7. Sago flour, 1 tsp
  8. Stock powder, to taste
  9. Pepper, to taste
  10. Thyme, to taste
  11. Fresh parsley, to taste

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin.
  2. Mash or blend the peeled edamame with water until roughly pureed. Set aside.
  3. Heat butter, then sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add the mashed edamame and sprinkle thyme into the sauté.
  5. Pour in the cooking cream and continue cooking until it boils.
  6. Add pepper, salt, and stock powder, then adjust the seasoning to taste.
  7. Stir in sago flour and cook until the soup thickens.
  8. Garnish the soup with parsley and serve.
