Ingredients
- Edashi Edamame, 450 grams
- Water, 700 grams
- Cooking cream, 350 ml
- Chopped onion, 1⁄2 piece
- Chopped garlic, 5 cloves
- Butter, 2 tbsp
- Sago flour, 1 tsp
- Stock powder, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
- Thyme, to taste
- Fresh parsley, to taste
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin.
- Mash or blend the peeled edamame with water until roughly pureed. Set aside.
- Heat butter, then sauté the chopped onion and garlic until fragrant.
- Add the mashed edamame and sprinkle thyme into the sauté.
- Pour in the cooking cream and continue cooking until it boils.
- Add pepper, salt, and stock powder, then adjust the seasoning to taste.
- Stir in sago flour and cook until the soup thickens.
- Garnish the soup with parsley and serve.
