Pom Pom Edamame is a unique and healthy snack made from Edashi Edamame, rich in protein and coated with gluten-free sago flour, creating a crispy outer texture and a soft interior.
Ingredients
- Edashi edamame, 600 grams
- Potatoes, 100 grams
- Sago flour, 50 grams
- Baking powder, 2 tsp
- Salt, 1 tsp
- Chicken stock powder, 1 tsp
- Ground pepper, 1⁄2 tsp
- Ground cumin, 1⁄2 tsp
Preparation Steps
- Soak the Edashi edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel the edamame.
- Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender.
- Prepare a food processor, then add the edamame and blend until smooth.
- Add the boiled potatoes, sago flour, baking powder, salt, chicken stock powder, ground pepper, and ground cumin to the food processor. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and evenly mixed.
- Transfer the mixture to a container, cover it, and let it rest in the chiller for about 25 minutes.
- Heat cooking oil over medium heat.
- Shape the mixture into small balls, then fry them in the preheated oil for 10 minutes.
- Your Edashi pom-poms are ready to enjoy!
