Pom Pom Edamame is a unique and healthy snack made from Edashi Edamame, rich in protein and coated with gluten-free sago flour, creating a crispy outer texture and a soft interior.

Ingredients

  1. Edashi edamame, 600 grams
  2. Potatoes, 100 grams
  3. Sago flour, 50 grams
  4. Baking powder, 2 tsp
  5. Salt, 1 tsp
  6. Chicken stock powder, 1 tsp
  7. Ground pepper, 1⁄2 tsp
  8. Ground cumin, 1⁄2 tsp

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak the Edashi edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel the edamame.
  2. Peel the potatoes and boil them until tender.
  3. Prepare a food processor, then add the edamame and blend until smooth.
  4. Add the boiled potatoes, sago flour, baking powder, salt, chicken stock powder, ground pepper, and ground cumin to the food processor. Blend all the ingredients until smooth and evenly mixed.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a container, cover it, and let it rest in the chiller for about 25 minutes.
  6. Heat cooking oil over medium heat.
  7. Shape the mixture into small balls, then fry them in the preheated oil for 10 minutes.
  8. Your Edashi pom-poms are ready to enjoy!
