Edamame Dorayaki

About the Food
Inspired by the Dorayaki bread loved by Doraemon, here comes Edamame Dorayaki—a sweet and fluffy treat. Made from a blend of gluten-free Sago Flour and healthy Edashi Edamame, it also helps prevent anemia. A must-try!

Ingredients Pancake

  1. Sago Pancake Premix – 1 pouch
  2. Eggs – 2 pieces
  3. Water – 150 ml
  4. Vegetable Oil – 4 tbsp
  5. Liquid Milk – 2 tbsp

Filling

  1. Edashi Edamame – 200 grams
  2. Sago Flour – 10 grams
  3. Vegetable Oil – 50 ml
  4. Sugar – 25 grams
  5. Vanilla Powder – ¼ tsp

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel and roughly chop. Set aside.
  2. Beat 2 eggs, then add 150 ml of water and 4 tablespoons of vegetable oil. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gradually mix the sago pancake premix with the beaten eggs while stirring until there are no lumps.
  4. Cook the batter using a non-stick pan over low heat. Flip the pancake when the bottom side is cooked and cook until evenly done.
  5. Prepare the filling by mashing the peeled edamame with water until it has a slightly coarse texture.
  6. Add sugar, oil, vanilla, and sago, then cook until the mixture thickens. Set aside.
  7. Spread the filling between two cooked pancakes, then press the edges together.
  8. Edamame Dorayaki is ready to serve.
