Edamame Cake, this irresistible treat is much healthier than regular cakes. A delightful blend of sago flour and Edashi Edamame creates a softer, crispier texture while also being gluten-free.
Ingredients
- Edashi Edamame – 100 grams
- Sago flour – 100 grams
- Rice flour – 80 grams
- Palm sugar – 125 grams
- Melted butter – 10 grams
- Eggs – 3
- Baking powder – 1/2 tsp
- Vanilla essence – 1/2 tsp
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edashi edamame in hot water for 2 minutes, then peel off the skin.
- Blend the peeled edamame until smooth using a blender. Set aside.
- Whisk the eggs, palm sugar, and vanilla essence until fluffy using a mixer.
- In a separate bowl, mix sago flour, rice flour, baking powder, and cinnamon, then stir until evenly combined.
- Gradually combine the dry ingredients with the wet mixture using a spatula.
- Slowly add the blended edamame into the batter while mixing until well incorporated.
- Add the melted butter to the batter and stir until evenly mixed.
- Pour the batter into cake molds, filling them almost to the top.
- Bake in the oven at 180°C (356°F) for 15 minutes.
- Your edamame cake is ready to serve.
