Love spicy food but want it healthy? Here’s Sweet and Spicy Edamame, made with Edashi Edamame, which is rich in protein and folic acid, mixed with a flavorful chili sauce and spices. Delicious and refreshing!
Ingredients
- Edashi edamame 100g
- Garlic 1 clove
- Broth 60 ml
- Chili sauce 1 tbsp
- Chili paste or ground chili 1 tsp
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Pepper 1/2 tsp
- Onion 1/2, sliced
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes.
- Peel the Edashi Edamame and set aside.
- Chop the garlic and onion, then sauté until fragrant. Pour in the prepared broth and bring to a boil.
- Add chili sauce, chili paste, sugar, salt, and pepper, then stir well.
- Add the peeled Edashi Edamame and cook until boiling, then remove from heat.
- Sweet and Spicy Edamame is ready to serve.
