Love spicy food but want it healthy? Here’s Sweet and Spicy Edamame, made with Edashi Edamame, which is rich in protein and folic acid, mixed with a flavorful chili sauce and spices. Delicious and refreshing!

Ingredients

  1. Edashi edamame 100g
  2. Garlic 1 clove
  3. Broth 60 ml
  4. Chili sauce 1 tbsp
  5. Chili paste or ground chili 1 tsp
  6. Sugar 2 tbsp
  7. Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
  8. Salt 1/2 tsp
  9. Pepper 1/2 tsp
  10. Onion 1/2, sliced

Preparation Steps

  1. Soak Edashi Edamame in hot water for 2 minutes.
  2. Peel the Edashi Edamame and set aside.
  3. Chop the garlic and onion, then sauté until fragrant. Pour in the prepared broth and bring to a boil.
  4. Add chili sauce, chili paste, sugar, salt, and pepper, then stir well.
  5. Add the peeled Edashi Edamame and cook until boiling, then remove from heat.
  6. Sweet and Spicy Edamame is ready to serve.
