One of the most delicious and tasty fried snacks is Fried Edamame Vermicelli. Made with Edashi Edamame combined with vermicelli, carrots, corned beef, and a blend of flavorful spices, it offers a texture and taste that will leave you craving more.
Ingredients
- Edashi Edamame – 300 grams
- Vermicelli – 300 grams
- Carrots – 200 grams
- Corned beef – 200 grams
- Spring onions – 20 grams
- Liquid broth – 400 grams
- Egg – 1 piece
Seasoning Ingredients
- Liquid broth – 50 grams
- Shallots – 3 cloves
- Garlic – 4 cloves
- Sugar – ½ tsp
- Salt – ½ tsp
- Pepper – ¼ tsp
Preparation Steps
- Soak Edashi edamame for 2 minutes, then peel and roughly chop. Set aside.
- Combine all seasoning ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Sauté the blended seasoning in a little oil until fragrant.
- Add the chopped edamame, carrots, and sliced spring onions, then stir until well mixed.
- Add the corned beef and a little broth, then cook until evenly cooked.
- Add the vermicelli and the remaining broth, then cook until done and the liquid is absorbed.
- Once cooked, pour the vermicelli mixture into a mold.
- Let the mixture cool until firm and solid.
- Cut the mixture into pieces as desired.
- Coat the pieces with egg, then fry until golden brown. Drain.
- Fried edamame vermicelli is ready to serve.
